Bastrop Gardens is an organic garden center and nursery which also provides Bastrop County with landscape design, installation and editing, sprinkler system design, installation and repairs, and backflow inspections. What we've got to pick right now:
We only have Swiss Chard left from the fall garden. And the East and West Farms, are planted with rows and rows of various types of tomatoes -- from heirlooms to modern types like Bigger Boy and Celebrity, not to mention plenty of Romas, many peppers and Ichiban Eggplant. All of which are ripe or near ripe. It's June big time, and the multitudes of green tomatoes are ripening. Big, juicy tomatoes! Little cherries! Tasty Celebrities! And weird shaped but totally tasty Heirlooms!
Ripe: We have Herbs available to some extent, such as Various Oreganos and lots and lots of Chives, plus Mints and more.

We've replaced Bio-Form dry, pelletized, fertilizer with Medina. We've switching because the Medina contains kelp and micronized green sands, unavailable in the dry Bio-Form. But the Bio-form liquid is still on our shelves because it is an especially effective rescue formula when plants have undergone a stressful event. Ask about how Bio-form liquid can rescue plants in trouble. Our antidotal evidence will convince you that this is the 'real stuff'. We have good advice this time of year, along with plenty of new plants in the veggie and herb department. Lots of shrubs and native understory trees available, along with a range of native plants of interest. And we can order just about any plant or tree you need, in any size. Also, ask about what's available in our organically grown produce from our farm "out back".
We've got organic herbs, all those cooking herbs and some stuff you've not seen in a while! Visit us this Spring for such culinary delights as sweet basil, chives, parsley (curly and Italian), lemon thyme, lemon balm, oregano and assorted mints. Many other herbs will be freshly in stock in the Spring.

degreed biologist/botanist, who can provide any landscape
services you need. She is past-president of the Bastrop County
Rose Society. We have the latest in equipment, from tractors to
powered tree-trimmers to computers and digital landscaping
cameras and programs, all to assist you in your landscape needs.
And we are providing irrigation (sprinkler systems) services,
TNRCC license #LI7348, and backflow inspections by a licensed inspector. And, we also build custom fences and
decks.
